Mouser Electronics, Inc., one of the industry’s leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributors with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components, on December 6, 2024, announced the promotion of Kristin Schuetter to Senior Vice President of Products, effective January 1, 2025.
In this role, Schuetter will oversee Mouser’s full roster of semiconductor, passive and related electronic component product categories, as well as the company’s industrial automation solutions. She will guide growth of this product portfolio across all categories in service of customers around the world. She takes over the role from Jeff Newell, who will become President of Mouser, working alongside CEO Glenn Smith and the executive leadership team.
Schuetter joined Mouser in 2013 from Texas Instruments (TI), where she was Director of Global Pricing. Her career in the electronics industry began at National Semiconductor in 1992 and includes experience in semiconductor and channel sales and operations, global pricing, asset management and product forecasting. Since joining Mouser as vice president of products, Schuetter has led substantial global business growth.
“Kristin is an exceptional leader with the skills and experience to scale business on a global level,” said Newell. “She’s proven to be an outstanding leader who can set the right tone for the team while also managing our business. She will make a great addition to the senior leadership team.”
As a global authorized distributor, Mouser offers the world’s widest selection of the newest semiconductors and electronic components — in stock and ready to ship. Mouser’s customers can expect 100% certified, genuine products that are fully traceable from each of its manufacturer partners.
