A Pile of Fashion for cute Petite Women

We all love our bodies just the way they are! But having human minds sometimes makes us desire for things which we can’t have. One such thing is to have some extra inches of height, isn’t it? People with comparatively short height generally shy away from the limelight. It has long been a challenge for short folks to enjoy the latest fashion. But don’t worry because I’ve compiled a list of fashion hacks only for you that will make you appear taller, among other things.

Let’s check how!!

Dressing or carrying yourself in the proper manner, according to your body, can make you appear taller than you are. Yes, without wearing those feet-breaking or pain in the feet high heels you can look a bit taller than you are by choosing the right clothes and accessories. Keeping a right track of colors, patterns, and the fit of your apparels, can create the illusion of height and you look taller. So if you are in search of right clothes and patterns and accessories, then follow the below tips and tricks and look the way you want!!

  • Don a particular bottom wear

Women with short heights must always look at the type of pants they wear. One must always go for straight-legged pants with longer inseams rather than capris or shorts. This is because straight long pants make your legs look longer whereas capris and shorts tend to cut your height. And going for higher waist pants, jeans or skirts is another stylish option that you can wear as a party outfit or for office wear. A pretty tucked-in shirt and a pencil skirt make a stylish outfit. Moreover, to make your legs appear longer, you must make them look leaner. And to make them look thinner one must always go for darker colors, like navy and black. This is due to the fact that these colors absorb light instead of reflecting it, making them appear more vibrant like brighter colors do.

  • Pants and shoes must be coordinated

Wearing the same color shoes as your pants creates a clean line in your silhouette, giving the impression of height. The appearance of your footwear as an extension of your legs deceives the sight. Therefore, it makes you look taller than you do in different colored footwear.

  • Go for slim-fitting blazer jackets and crop tops

For a short statured woman, a crop top or slim-fitting blazer jacket is always a good choice to go with. The crop tops give the illusion of a long figure or long legs. Crop tops can be best worn with high waist jeans or a long skirt.

· Monochromatic Outfit

A monochromatic wardrobe is necessary if you want to appear taller. Because color helps to draw a vertical line, using color to increase the perception of height is quite easy. Monochromatic color schemes are colors that are created from a single basic hue and expanded by utilizing its shades, tones, and tints.

· Vertical Lines Print

Another illusion to look tall and trick the eyes is to wear clothes having vertical prints into it. This makes you look tall thereby giving an illusion of more height than you actually have.

 · One Piece Clothing

One-piece clothing makes a shorter woman appear taller. This is due to the fact that continuous hues or patterns might make your frame appear longer by adding a vertical line. On the other hand if you go for a separate top and bottom wear then it shows where your torso and legs are divided which makes it more visible whether you have short legs or not.

Along with the clothing styles, we must also have a look at the accessories we choose.

Draping the Accessories

We all enjoy accessories and carry them with us wherever we go because they make us feel good. However, just as it is necessary to bring specific accessories for a specific dressing style, it is also necessary to carry those that are appropriate for your body type. Therefore, for stature body it is recommended to add chandelier earrings and a simple necklace to complement your dark skinny jeans. This deflects attention from your lower body and puts it on your face. Moreover, if you choose V-neckline to add those accessories then it will give a perfect look as a deep V-neck emphasizes how long the body is. You can also appear taller by wearing a few long draping accessories, such as long necklaces and scarves. Long scarves and necklaces lead the eye up and down, giving the impression that you are taller than you actually are.

It makes no difference how your body looks or what height you have if you know what to wear and what not to wear. The above tricks and tips will definitely  help you build confidence and look taller. Now that we know what to wear, let’s just once roll our eyes to what we should avoid.

The Don’ts

  • Avoid wearing shorts.
  • In the similar way, avoid ankle length pants too.
  • Do not wear baggy clothing.
  • Do not go for long tops.
  • Don’t try to go for chunky accessories.
  • Do not carry over-sized bags too.

Conclusion

No matter how tall or short you are, accept yourself and put together a good-looking outfit. Most importantly, be confident and remain optimistic. That’s all you need to catch the limelight.

Stay tricky, stay happy!!
