Weidner Apartment Homes, one of the 12th largest apartment owners in the U.S., is thrilled to announce that Lonna Torchia, Weidner’s Executive Vice President, has joined the company’s Executive Leadership Team.
Lonna started with Weidner in 2007 and has 38 years of experience in operations within the real estate industry. During her 18-year tenure, she has held several leadership roles, including Regional Director, Regional Vice President, Vice President of Operations, and, most recently, Executive Vice President, a position she has held since November 2023. With her outstanding operational expertise, Lonna has been instrumental in overseeing 83 ventures for Weidner, encompassing a range of projects, including lease-ups, acquisitions, renovations, and new developments.

A true leader in the multifamily space, Lonna is celebrated for her passion for people development and building high-performing teams. She played a pivotal role in helping Weidner achieve a spot on the NMHC Top 50 Owners List in 2013 and reach its current 12th position, illustrating her commitment to continuous improvement and pushing boundaries.
