TenCate Americas, one of the world’s leading manufacturers, distributor and installer of synthetic turf for sports and outdoor living applications, has appointed Colin Drafts as Vice President of Manufacturing. In this role, Colin will oversee manufacturing operations across the U.S. and will be responsible for driving productivity, ensuring safety and quality, and aligning operations with TenCate Grass’s strategic growth objectives.

Drafts most recently served as Plant Manager and Director of Operations Excellence at James Hardie, where he led transformative initiatives that significantly improved operational efficiency and product quality. Prior to that, he held several multi-site leadership roles at Shaw Industries, further honing his expertise in large-scale manufacturing environments.

Drafts is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
