Pocketalk is launching the Pocketalk Enterprise App for enterprise customers this November, unlocking the industry-leading translation technology directly on any enterprise customer’s iOS or Android device for fast, accurate, secure and cost-effective translation. The app will be able to instantly translate 92+ languages without the need to adopt a new internal hardware device, which is a significant development for healthcare, public safety and law enforcement industries where professionals are often provided with organisation-issued mobile devices.
The technology, powered by Prism Language Systems, Pocketalk’s proprietary language engine, unlocks:

- Cost-efficiency, reducing ongoing language services spending by using a set annual subscription fee without per-minute charges
- The highest security standards with enterprise-grade data protection to ensure all conversations remain secure, with compliance for COPPA, FERPA, HIPAA, and GDPR

Zebra Technologies recently adopted the Pocketalk technology by bringing the company’s translation technology to healthcare settings across the UK. The Pocketalk Enterprise App will enable frontline workers using Zebra mobile computers, tablets and kiosks to immediately translate conversations and paperwork such as prescriptions using their device’s camera function.
Pocketalk Enterprise App is the newest expression of Prism Language Systems, joining the Pocketalk device and Sentio, the web-based SaaS solution that offers language inclusion at-scale through one-to-many translations through digital displays and announcements.
Available on the Enterprise App Stores for Android and iOS devices, the app is exclusively for enterprise deployment and access is granted through a contractual agreement with Pocketalk.
