OPPO, one of the world’s largest smartphone manufacturers with over 750 million users globally, has chosen music as the central theme to introduce its new premium smartphone, the OPPO Find X9 Pro, to the Brazilian market. With the concept “The camera that brings you closer to everything ,” the campaign connects the device to the world of concerts and festivals, focusing on content creators, fandoms, and digital experiences to engage with a young audience.
The main focus of the strategy is a partnership with the 99 superapp, targeting users in the mobility categories. The initiative includes video ads and pop-up formats within the platform, creating a direct connection with users traveling to music events and positioning the smartphone as the ideal device to capture these moments.

“The Find X9 Pro was born from the understanding that the public wants to live and record their passions without limitations. Equipped with a powerful camera system and long-lasting battery, we want the smartphone to be the ultimate companion in these moments. The partnership with 99 allows us to accompany music fans from their commute to the peak of the show,” says Mariana Passos, Senior Communications Manager at OPPO Brazil.
According to the company, the campaign integrates mobility, entertainment, and digital culture to bring the brand closer to an audience connected to music and content creation.
Activations connect fans, creators, and shows
The strategy also includes activations throughout the month of March. The brand has partnered with Radio 89 FM to promote promotional activities such as giving away gifts to listeners who attend shows during that period, in addition to exclusive announcements on the radio.
Another aspect of the campaign involves experiences with fandoms of artists touring Brazil, allowing fans to interact with the device and use it to record content during the events.
OPPO is also betting on connecting with the contemporary music scene. In partnership with Billboard Brazil magazine, the brand will sponsor a special content project focused on emerging artists and new music trends. The initiative involves producing content developed using smartphones, exploring their image and video capabilities and connecting the device to different moments of the musical experience.

Smartphone bets on photography for content creators
Positioned as a device geared towards content creation, the OPPO Find X9 Pro features a camera system developed in partnership with Hasselblad, including a 200-megapixel telephoto lens designed for capturing images in environments such as concerts and festivals.
The device also features four microphones with AI Sound Focus technology for capturing audio in loud environments, a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, and a 7,500 mAh battery.
To mark its entry into the premium segment in Brazil, OPPO will offer exclusive benefits to the first buyers of the device, including priority support.
The model will be released with a suggested retail price of BRL 11,999 and will be available in the brand’s online store and at retail partners such as Magazine Luiza, Bemol, and Mercado Livre, as well as the Claro and Vivo mobile operators.
