Knightscope, Inc. [Nasdaq: KSCP] (“Knightscope” or the “Company”), a leading developer of autonomous security robots and blue light emergency communication systems, yesterday announced a new deployment of its 5th Generation K5 Autonomous Security Robot (“ASR”) at a luxury hotel in Memphis, TN. Knightscope provides a safer lodging experience for guests, staff and visitors as outlined in a recent blog where the Company makes recommendations for combatting crimes challenging the hotel industry.

Knightscope’s ASR will patrol the parking areas of the hotel, alerting personnel to certain threats and allowing them to respond quickly when assistance is needed. Security in hospitality encompasses a hotel’s building and grounds as well as its guests, employees, visitors and day users. Operators and administrators must follow an integrated approach when adding ASRs, observing all aspects of security to ensure the optimal combination of organizational, technical and physical measures to prevent and respond promptly to any dangerous situation.

In addition to its security duties, the K5 ASR will also provide a unique, highly visible, branded guest experience as it welcomes visitors coming and going from the property. Custom broadcast messages greet passersby and alert those seeking to do harm or commit crimes that the property is monitored by the most sophisticated security technology available.
