New American Funding (NAF), a leading independent mortgage lender, has named Tim Sorenson as its new divisional executive vice president for the southwest. This strategic move emphasizes NAF’s commitment to strengthening its retail presence in the region and driving business growth.

With more than two decades of mortgage lending experience, Sorenson will be responsible for guiding loan officers across a broad geographic area, encompassing Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Kansas, Nevada, Oklahoma, Utah, Wyoming, and the Southern California region. He will also focus on accelerating growth and implementing strategic recruiting initiatives. Sorenson will report directly to Tony Blodgett, NAF’s executive vice president of national sales – west.

“Tim’s appointment is a significant step forward for New American Funding’s southwest division,” said Pat Bolan, NAF’s chief production officer. “His reputation for propelling businesses forward through innovative strategies and his ability to lead a high-performing team environment make him the ideal candidate to manage our expansion efforts in the southwest.”

“I’m excited to lead NAF’s talented southwest retail team as we work to drive sales growth while delivering an exceptional customer experience,” said Tim. “To achieve long-term success, I’ll focus on recruiting strategies that attract, retain, and develop top performers, ensuring that NAF is the first choice for the industry’s best talent.”
