Global Airlines, the world’s newest long-haul airline, announces an important partnership with American Express. This means spending Amex cardholders can book tickets and take advantage of the airline’s exclusive deals.
The details of the partnership
Ahead of the first flight in 2024, American Express and Global will work together to develop a tailored offer for Amex cardholders on the first flight between Gatwick, London and JFK, New York. The agreement also includes several exclusive flight offers, hotel accommodations and restaurant reservations available to the cardholder.
Global will launch with two transatlantic routes. The new partnership will allow American Express cardholders to be the first to purchase tickets for all three cabins on the Global Airlines A380. First, business and economy. The airline also wants to improve the way people move while working and aims to attract business travelers to its newly designed and renovated cabins.

The airline made the announcement at its “Welcome Aboard” event Thursday evening at Kettner’s, Soho House in the presence of 200 guests attended the event, including national media representatives, investors, airline partners and brands.
