Elementl Power, an independent developer of utility-scale nuclear power projects, has named Robey Clark the company’s senior vice president of Projects.
In this role, Clark will have executive oversight of Elementl’s projects and related project management activities while closely coordinating with the company’s Licensing and Regulatory Affairs team. He will be responsible for the delivery of Elementl’s current 5-gigawatt (GW) portfolio, which includes the company’s 1.8 GW strategic development arrangement with Google and its 1.5 GW small modular reactor (SMR) project under active development in southeast Ohio, as well as future nuclear projects. Clark will report to Elementl’s Chief Projects Officer, Shawn Hughes.
Most recently, Clark was director of Strategic Initiatives at Kairos Power, an engineering developer of advanced nuclear reactors. He was previously a partner at Boston Consulting Group, where he focused on oil and gas capital project cost and schedule delivery, operational improvement, and organizational optimization. A veteran of the U.S. Navy submarine force, Clark oversaw the safe operation and maintenance of nuclear reactors, qualified as an Engineer Officer, and served as a Naval Reactors instructor.

Clark holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College in Maine.
