Doosan Robotics has announced its participation in automatica 2025, Europe’s leading automation trade show, which will be held in Munich, Germany, starting June 24. At the event, Doosan will unveil its innovative “AI Robotics Solution” by showcasing a wide range of intelligent robotic technologies in a two-part exhibition area: “Automation in Action” and Automation in Reality.

In the “Automation in Reality” area, visitors will be able to discover a range of robotic solutions integrated with AI. The company will showcase AI robotics technologies developed in collaboration with NVIDIA and AWS. These include  “Voice to Real,” a speech recognition-based solution developed in partnership with AWS, and an enhanced version of Mixmaster Moodie, which debuted at CES 2024. Equipped with a 3D vision camera, this collaborative robot interprets everyday language, understands user intent, locates objects, and autonomously performs corresponding actions.

The material handling solution integrates three collaborative robots with vision capabilities that allow them to recognize and manipulate objects without prior training. This installation uses the Multi-Arm Dynamic Manipulation Engine, a proprietary Doosan technology that orchestrates the movements of multiple robotic arms to simultaneously perform highly delicate and precise tasks.

The sanding solution helps robots autonomously map and polish complex surfaces using AI and 3D vision, while the inspection solution performs real-time exterior vehicle inspections with high accuracy from a 3D scanning system.

Another highlight is “Sim to Real,” a real-time motion control solution leveraging NVIDIA Isaac Sim—a benchmark application built on NVIDIA Omniverse for simulating and testing AI-driven robots, as well as CuRobo, a CUDA-accelerated robotics library. Using GPU acceleration, it quickly calculates complex robotic trajectories. The simulated motions are seamlessly transferred to physical robots via real-time communication, ensuring precise and responsive operation.

The “Automation in Action” area   will showcase practical robotic applications at key stages of the manufacturing process, including welding , machine tending , assembly , quality inspection and palletizing  . These solutions have been developed in collaboration with European partners and are already being deployed by global industry leaders such as  General Motors,  Danone ,  Heineken  and  Royal Mail, proving their commercial viability and operational reliability in the European market.
