In 2024, Huawei introduced a new digital standard for monitoring physical activity and health – TrueSense System – which is characterized by greater accuracy and speed of monitoring vital signs. A year later, the system was updated – it combined the advantages of sensors located on the fingertip and wrist, making health data more extensive and more accurate, and their collection takes less time. For example, reading the blood saturation level from the fingertip has been accelerated to 10 seconds, and the number of micro indicators of the body’s condition has been increased to 17 items.
When it comes to blood pressure monitoring, Huawei’s new offering is a watch that monitors this parameter – HUAWEI WATCH D. The device has been registered in China as a Class II medical device and is also included in the “China Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Arterial Hypertension (2024 Revised Version)”.
Huawei wearables currently have 7 medical certificates issued in China and medical device quality certificates granted in 13 countries/regions. What’s more, the manufacturer has almost a thousand patent applications in the field of smart wearables.
